A group of ancient houses overlooks the sixteenth century Piazza Garibaldi and the Torre del Rivellino (tower). The hill of the Parco Terrosi can be admired from a large terrace on top of which stood an ancient watchtower. The monastery of San Francesco, built in 1212, the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, dating back to 1155 and the Collegiate Church of the Holy Trinity, a Gothic style church from the 12th-13th century are, for example, located inside the citadel. The Rocca (fortress) is located on the top, dating back to the 10th century and represents the oldest part of the town. The Rocca, which was converted into a house in the 16th century, is still a private residence and is not open to the public.
