Parco Acquasanta

The ancient park in which the thermal water, known since ancient times for its healing properties, gushes out. Numerous Etruscan and Roman finds, in fact, testify to the popularity of these baths. In particular, reproductions of statuettes and body parts, such as the liver, in bronze or stone, were found as votive offerings for healing. Water drinking therapy is still practised today, i.e. drinking thermal water at intervals to allow it to be assimilated.
