Caffè Venezia, situated in a corner where time seems to have stood still, is a historic café from the second half of the nineteenth century which has been meticulously renovated. Photos of Chiusi dating back to the first decades of the last century can be viewed inside the café as well as a plaque commemorating the Second World War. There is a Medici column in the square, built in 1581 to celebrate the visit by the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Francis I.
