The Station

Located on the Siena-Chiusi line, the station serves the town of Torrita di Siena.
Together with Cavone, Le Fonti, Refenero, Stazione is one of the districts which, with the four town gateways, Porta Nova, Porta a Gavina, Porta a Pago and Porta a Sole, participate in the “Il Palio dei Somari di Torrita di Siena” (donkey race), which started in 1966. Several murals decorate the façade of the station now.
