The small town of Castelmuzio is situated on the road which leads to Pienza from Trequanda. The centre of the town is criss-crossed by narrow streets which lead to the main square where the Casa Torre stands, once the site of the town council. Further on, the Belvedere is a terrace that opens out onto a landscape of olive groves and hills.
Since 2015, the Castelmuzio Borgo Salotto association has been working hard to turn the centre into a place of culture, beauty and hospitality. The patronage of local entrepreneurs is also intense, providing the means to re-evaluate the Belvedere terrace, which has become a “salon” where people get together and create a social setting.
